This ancient snapping turtle was hit by a car and has had a slow healing journey. He loves the running water from the tap, which for a long time was his only contact with water as he couldn't have water near his wound. The Center for Wildlife in York Maine rehabilitates injured and orphaned wildlife. They also run educational programs and visits to teach about the local wildlife.
