This is Gaia the great horned owl. She is an ambassador owl. Did you know that great hornedowls mate and sit on eggs in the winter?
The Center for Wildlife in York Maine rehabilitates injured and orphaned wildlife. They also run educational programs and visits to teach about the local wildlife.
